Bugatti Chiron Rumored as Veyron Successor

The Bugatti Veyron’s successor could very well have a name.

According to a recent report from Car and Driver, the Bugatti Veyron’s successor will be called the Chiron just like the 1999 Bugatti concept car that was created by Italdesign Giugiaro. It is believed that the Chiron name is inspired by early Bugatti race car driver Louis Chiron.

The successor to the Veyron is expected to debut next year and is expected to sport a hybrid powertrain based off the existing 8.0-liter, 16-cylinder engine and will reportedly have 1,479 hp.
